Original design by the artist that is hand-printed using hand-carved linoleum blocks and printed with oil-based ink on soft 90gsm Napalese mountain paper in a dark natural color with beautiful natural deckled edges. The paper is made from bark fiber of the lokta plant which grows above ~10,000 feet in the Himalayan foothills. This is a renewable resource and the fiber collections and paper manufacture create valuable employment in this region.
-The design is transferred to the linoleum block via carbon transfer paper
-The negative space is slowly carved away by hand leaving the image raised
-Oil-based ink is evenly rolled on the block using a brayer
-The paper is placed and then hand-burnished with a baren and spoon to transfer the
-Once dry, each print is editioned & signed within this first limited edition of 10

The paper size is approximately 7"x10" and ships unframed (frame not included).

All packaging is made from 100% recyclable material.
Each print is placed in a clear slip bag with a thick 4-ply backing board for added
protection before going into a stiff hard mailer.
Please keep in mind that due to the nature of hand printing, there are slight variations
and imperfections between each print and visible signs of the hand-burnishing
technique. This makes each print truly unique!
