The Silver Sword Philodendron is a one of a kind "vining aroid" from Brasil. What that means is, if your plant is happy you will begin to see it start to grow aerial roots as it climbs up whatever support you give it.

Water: Water thoroughly and allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Yellow leaves are a symptom of over-watering. Stick your finger about an inch or two into the soil, if the soil feels dry–it’s time to water. If the soil feels wet, don’t water.
